Karpeta was born in 2006 from the idea of ​​entrepreneurs Daniele Morabito and Simona Scollica, with the aim of combining past and present, intertwining craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic.

The desire is to mix more traditional carpet weaving and production techniques with the need to tell of the present, giving life to unique artifacts, an expression of the desired fusion of cultures.

Over the years, the company has been able to carry out a virtuous process of continuous renewal and experimentation. Karpeta creations are handmade, according to the rigorous canons of ancient artisan tradition, but projected into the future by the flair and creativity of a team of designers that renews itself every year.
