Nuove Forme

A story of passion, technique and creative flair. Nuove Forme was founded in 1993 near Florence, taking up the legacy of the ceramics company founded by Alvino Bagni.

Nuove Forme collections, distinguished by their variety and uniqueness, draw on the wealth of cultural and artistic knowledge of Alvino Bagni, handed down to Gianfranco Ghiretti and his niece Maria Chiara. The company’s technical skills also stem from the experience gained over the years through collaborations with many artists who worked first with Alvino Bagni and then with Nuove Forme. This precious heritage is enriched by new projects, marked by the same spirit of experimentation that made Alvino’s creative journey unique.

All this translates into unique ceramic work, whether contemporary or design pieces, re-editions of items from the historical collection or made-to-measure projects. These are surprising and inimitable collections, the result of continuous research and experimentation with materials, colours, shapes and textures.

Nuove Forme creates its products in collaboration with small local artisans who make the plaster moulds or work on the potter’s wheel, supervised directly by the company to guarantee the reliability of the semi-finished pieces. The glazing, decoration, firing and packaging stages, on the other hand, are carried out at the Florentine factory with great attention to detail.
