Interno Italiano

Founded in 2012 by Giulio Iacchetti and Silvia Cortese, Internoitaliano is a “widespread design factory” project rooted in Italy’s manufacturing fabric: a network of workshops, artisans and manufacturing companies that embody Italian excellence in creating products of the highest quality.

The name reflects the desire to create a catalogue of furnishing objects inspired by the Italian way of making and living, designing everything that can be found in an interior. The result is a complete range of products designed to last and to become part of everyday life.

Each creation is described as a “happy object”, born from an equal and harmonious encounter between designer and artisan, with its own stylistic autonomy that allows it to adapt to very different settings.

The brand’s visual identity is a story told in collage. Objects, history, quality and Italian character live in a space that deliberately avoids any reference to a predetermined lifestyle. The names given to Internoitaliano’s objects pay tribute to lesser-known Italian towns and villages, symbols of an authentic national identity that opens up to the international scene.

What materials are Interno Italiano pieces made of?

Affi, Bard and the Buri chair in solid ash are made of wood; the Gioi table, the Albi and Suni coffee tables and the Cave stool of terracotta; the Pinocchio vases of Murano glass. The Pula broom uses coconut fibre in the indoor version and bassine fibre in the outdoor one.
