Giulio Iacchetti
Giulio Iacchetti has worked in industrial design since 1992, collaborating with brands such as Abet Laminati, Alessi, Danese, Casamania, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Magis, Meritalia and Moleskine. He curates exhibitions born from reflections on various design themes, such as the cross, from which “Cruciale” was born, and food design, from which “Razione K, il pasto del soldato in azione” was born, produced by the Triennale di Milano in January 2015. He has won several awards, including two Compasso d'Oro: in 2001, with the biodegradable multi-purpose cutlery “Moscardino”; and in 2014 with the Sfera manhole cover series designed for Montini. In May 2009 the Triennale di Milano hosted his solo exhibition titled “Giulio Iacchetti. Oggetti disobbedienti”.
