Alvino Bagni

Alvino Bagni was one of the most important Italian ceramicists of the twentieth century, a leading figure in the evolution of Made in Italy artistic ceramics. Founder of the historic Ceramiche Bagni, he was able to turn Tuscan manufacturing tradition into a contemporary language, combining artisan mastery, technical experimentation and aesthetic research.

From the 1950s onwards his creations won over the international market thanks to collaborations with prestigious names such as Raymor in the United States and Rosenthal in Germany. Vases, accessories and decorative objects stood out for their innovative forms, refined glazes and experimental techniques, helping make Ceramiche Bagni a reference point in Italian ceramics between the 1950s and the 1980s.

His design approach stemmed from a deep respect for matter and a desire to innovate without ever losing touch with tradition. Every creation expresses a perfect balance of technique, craftsmanship and artistic value, giving rise to objects that remain remarkably relevant to this day.
