Paolo Grasselli is an Italian designer and art director known for an essential, innovative design approach strongly oriented towards functionality. A graduate of ISIA in Florence, he has built a career working with some of the most important Made in Italy design companies, developing products that range from furniture to lighting to homeware.
His design philosophy stems from the pursuit of balance between form, function and technological innovation. Every product is conceived to meet real needs through a clean language, harmonious proportions and particular attention to materials and production processes. The result is contemporary, recognisable design built to last.
Since 2003 he has worked with Modo Luce, for whom he has created numerous lighting collections, alongside his work as art director for various Italian companies. His creations have been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Deutsches Architekturmuseum in Frankfurt and the Felissimo Design House in New York, earning major international recognition and selection in the ADI Design Index.
Through design that combines formal rigour, research and design culture, Paolo Grasselli contributes today to the evolution of contemporary Italian design, creating products in which aesthetics, functionality and innovation coexist in perfect balance.
