Wood or marble: two desks compared
Navarra is made entirely of solid wood, with dovetail-jointed drawers and X-shaped crossed legs; it comes with or without an upstand and with one or three drawers. Gary has three drawers, a brass frame, an inset marble top and back-painted glass elements.

Which designer desks can I find at Galleria Italia?
We offer two Made in Italy desks: Marioni's rectangular Gary desk, designed by Studio 63, and the Navarra desk by Riva 1920, from the C.R.&S. Riva 1920 research centre.
What is the difference between the Gary and Navarra desks?
Marioni's Gary has a metal frame and a marble and crystal glass top, measures 140x65 cm and is 75 cm tall. Riva 1920's Navarra is made of wood, measures 130x70 cm and is 96 cm tall.
Where are the desks made?
Both are Made in Italy: Gary is produced in Tuscany by Marioni, Navarra in Lombardy by Riva 1920. To complete a study, see also our bookcases.
