Federico Degioanni is an Italian architect and designer, born in 1986 and graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Torino in 2013. Since 2014 he has worked professionally with studios active in architecture, graphics and design, experiences through which he has developed a cross-disciplinary, personal design approach.
His research stems from the meeting of architectural training, curiosity and observation of nature. Particular attention to materials and details accompanies the pursuit of pure, functional forms, designed to establish a harmonious relationship with spaces and people. Alongside his professional work, he also pursues an interest in drawing, art, photography and self-produced objects.
His projects include Libra, a solid wood table developed for Riva 1920 as part of the "A Seat at the Table" initiative, dedicated to showcasing new talents in Italian design. The project interprets the material through a balanced, lightweight structure inspired by forms found in nature.
Through an essential, measured language, Federico Degioanni interprets contemporary design as a synthesis of nature, matter and function, shaping objects marked by design clarity and construction care.
