The brand

Martinelli Luce

Martinelli Luce was founded in Lucca in 1950 by Elio Martinelli and has designed lamps with essential shapes, inspired by geometry and nature, ever since. Galleria Italia offers a selection of its table, floor, pendant and outdoor lamps.

The icon is Gae Aulenti’s Pipistrello, with an aluminium frame and methacrylate diffuser: we carry it large with a bulb or an LED module, small with LED, small cordless and in the POP Limited Edition. By the same designer there is the Ruspa, also in a 4-arm version. From Elio Martinelli come the resin Cobra and the Serpente, alongside Emiliana Martinelli’s Cobra Scorpius.

The range also includes Marco Ghilarducci’s TX1 with a brass base, Brian Sironi’s Elica, Pio & Tito Toso’s Tenso and the Cicala, Avro by Studio Natural and Lady Galala by Peluffo & Partners pendants. For gardens and terraces there are the Biconica Pol, the concrete Amanita, Emiliana Martinelli’s Frog and Trilly and Karim Rashid’s polyethylene Cyborg lamps.
