In D/Vision .1, the cabinet is literally split in two by an imaginary diagonal line. In this case, the upper part symbolically slides downwards, seeking a point of support, thus altering the image of the original design. The bipartition is also reflected in the colours and finishes, contrasting the blue lacquer of the lower part with the frisé walnut used for the upper part, where the oval mirror has also been left unchanged.
