The brand
Karman
Beautiful Mess by Karman deconstructs the classic chandelier and turns it into an ironic, surprising tale made of unexpected luminous objects.
Story
Around a white metal central structure are arranged arms in satin-white blown Murano glass, in the mid-18th-century Venetian tradition, with Bohemian crystal bobeches. In place of the usual lights come a fabric shade, a glass bell, a kerosene lantern, a flexible-arm lamp, an 80s neon tube, a glass fish and a pink neon heart. Marcantonio trained at the Istituto d'Arte and the Accademia di Belle Arti, began as a stage designer and sculptor, and since 2001 has devoted himself to art and industrial design, with the relationship between people and nature at its core. Karman, founded in 2005 in Fossombrone, in the heart of the Marche region, by Davide Diamantini, experiments with unconventional materials and treats every design as a new lighting sculpture.
