The brand
Karman
Ceraunavolta 12 elements by Karman brings together twelve different glass shades in a chandelier with vintage charm.
Story
Ceraunavolta, designed by Edmondo Testaguzza and Matteo Ugolini, re-edits twelve glass shade shapes from original 1970s moulds, in clear or Tiffany blue, to compose chandeliers of 12, 17 or 22 elements. Edmondo Testaguzza, born in Backnang in 1964 and head of his own design studio since 1997, has a long collaboration with Karman in the search for new languages and new materials. Matteo Ugolini, art director of Karman, conceives every lighting project as a story that needs no words, between memory and nature. Karman, founded in 2005 in Fossombrone, in the heart of the Marche region, by Davide Diamantini, experiments with unconventional materials and treats every design as a new lighting sculpture.
