It all began in 1920 in Cantù, in the heart of Brianza, in a small family-run artisan workshop specialised in producing solid wood furniture. It is the story of a company with deep roots and great craftsmanship, which for over 100 years has combined innovation and design with respect for the environment and the finest Made in Italy tradition.

Working with leading figures in architecture and art, Riva 1920 stands out for producing furniture of outstanding quality in which wood is the undisputed protagonist, giving rise to something special, unique and timeless.

Protecting the environment and a love of nature are its founding principles. The quality of the raw materials used is the foundation of the production process, beginning with the choice of the finest woods. Every piece of furniture is made exclusively with wood from controlled forestry areas, and the species used include maple, cherry, oak and walnut, as well as reclaimed wood such as New Zealand Kauri, Briccole timber and Lebanon cedar.
