It all began in 1920 in Cantù, in the heart of Brianza, in a small family-run craft workshop specialising in solid wood furniture. It is the story of a company with solid roots and great craftsmanship that, for over 100 years, has combined innovation and design with respect for the environment and the finest Made in Italy tradition.

Protecting the environment and a love of nature are its fundamental principles. The quality of the raw materials is the foundation of the production process, which begins with the selection of the finest woods. Every piece of furniture is made exclusively from wood sourced from controlled forestry areas; the species used include maple, cherry, oak and walnut, as well as reclaimed woods such as New Zealand kauri, briccole wood and cedar of Lebanon.

Riva 1920 products are made using techniques rooted in the cabinetmaking tradition, thanks to the skilled hands of highly qualified master carpenters and the use of cutting-edge technologies.
