Tappeto (Un)fold by Karpeta

Karpeta was born in 2006 from an idea by entrepreneurs Daniele Morabito and Simona Scollica, with the goal of bringing together past and present, weaving artisan mastery with a contemporary aesthetic.

The aim is to blend the most traditional rug-weaving and finishing techniques with the need to speak to the present, creating unique pieces that express a deliberate mixing of cultures.

Over the years, the company has pursued a virtuous process of constant renewal and experimentation. Karpeta's creations are handmade according to the rigorous canons of ancient artisan tradition, yet projected into the future by the flair and creativity of a design team that renews itself every year.
