Marioni

The brand

Marioni

Marioni is a manufacturer of furniture, lighting and home accessories, made with particular attention to the selection of materials, colour combinations, finishes and decorations. Its story is that of a family business, founded in 1966 in Calenzano, just a stone’s throw from Florence, where the art of creating objects unmistakable for their refinement and flair has its roots in the Renaissance.

From a small craft workshop making artistic clay pieces, the company has grown into a solid industrial business, while always keeping alive its skilled craft approach, which translates into excellence sought in every single detail. Production has always been 100% Made in Italy, thanks to the specialisation of each production department.

Marioni’s philosophy is that of a company on a human scale, where the value of its people, with their wealth of knowledge, is its greatest asset. It is also that of a company of modern artisans who combine innovation and tradition while remaining true to contemporary elegance.

Through its collections, the company aims to enhance the quality of craft know-how and high-level production, conveying an atmosphere that expresses the Italian lifestyle. A strong bond with the territory, materiality and handcraft define Marioni’s unmistakable style, whose creations are a symbol of Tuscan excellence and Italian luxury around the world.

The Carousel low rectangular coffee table by Marioni combines a brass structure with a recessed top in glazed ceramic and back-painted glass.

Story

Carousel, designed by La Récréation, has a brass structure and a recessed top made of glazed ceramic and back-painted glass elements, handcrafted in Florence and also available made to measure. It belongs to Marioni's Notorious collection, inspired by the style of the 1940s and a Hollywood atmosphere, made entirely in Italy and customisable on request. Marioni, founded in Florence in 1966 by Paolo Marioni and now a family business in its third generation, combines creativity in the details and hand execution in an entirely Italian luxury.
