Riva 1920

The brand

Riva 1920

Riva 1920 was founded in 1920 in Cantù, in the heart of Brianza, as a family-run craft workshop specialising in solid-wood furniture. Wood remains the protagonist: it comes from controlled forestry areas and includes reclaimed timbers such as Venetian briccole and cedar of Lebanon.

At Galleria Italia you will find a selection of 44 pieces. The Rialto system includes sideboards, chests of drawers and a bedside table; there are also the Venice and Venice Cedro consoles, the Torre Lignea, Pillar and Step By Step bookcases, the Navarra desk and the Boss Executive, Liam Iron, Tableau and Vela tables, the latter also for outdoor use. The seating range is wide: the Barney, Bignè, Botte, Clessidra, Coppa, Bricola Venezia and Bungalow stools, the Molletta, Curve and Mountains benches, the Klutch chair and the Maui and Wilma armchairs.

Designers in our catalogue include Michele De Lucchi (Torre Lignea), Mario Botta (Clessidra), Terry Dwan (Barney, Maui, Wilma), Giuliano Cappelletti (Rialto), Claudio Bellini (Venice), Marco Piva (Klutch), Brodie Neill (Curve) and Jamie Durie (Bungalow).

Riva 1920 suits anyone who wants solid wood in the living room, kitchen, bedroom and study. Discover our stools and bookcases.

Armchair in solid fragrant cedar wood carved from a single block. It is a sculptural monolith with a curvilinear, sinuous design, featuring an ergonomic seat that flows seamlessly into the backrest. Available with or without a base featuring a tubular leg and an iron plate.
