The brand

Horm

Horm is a furniture company from Friuli that, since 1989, has been producing high-end design furniture for homes and the contract sector, combining technology, know-how and research.

People, in every aspect of their daily lives, are at the centre of every project by the brand. Eating, working, socialising and relaxing are the main activities of daily life for which the company produces furniture offering high comfort and respect for human ergonomics.

The pursuit of comfort does not exclude emotional content. Every furnishing solution, from sofas and tables to bookcases, becomes a personal expression of those who use it and is designed for people who want to furnish their homes with an exclusive character, combining aesthetics, functionality and fine materials.

Horm offers a contemporary style in which Mediterranean, Japanese, Scandinavian and North American influences coexist, reinterpreted through the culture and craftsmanship of Made in Italy.

The brand has always worked with renowned architects and designers who express their creativity while sharing the same passion for beauty and quality. Over the years, the company has received numerous international awards and accolades, such as the Compasso d’Oro, testifying to its ability to combine design, research and technology in creating furniture full of personality and functionality.

Leon Wood by Horm is a designer sideboard in wood designed by StH. It is the version of the Leon collection devoted to the purity of the material: made entirely of wood, it keeps the vertical rhythm of the doors that characterises the whole series, here in the Moca finish.

The vertical rhythm of the Leon collection

Solid beech inserts with a triangular cross-section are applied to the doors, drawing a vertical rhythm across the front. In the Moca version, the moca-stained beech structure is paired with doors in moca-stained beech and cherry. The low feet keep the sideboard close to the floor and bring the design of the surfaces to the fore. Horm was founded in 1989 in the Pordenone furniture district and works mainly with wood, often combined with marble and leather, alongside international designers and architects.
