Charlotte by Horm is a designer armchair in natural rattan core designed by Mario Botta. It stems from Botta’s architectural language, in which the purity of geometric volumes meets balanced proportions: a cylinder that opens up and takes shape as an enveloping seat that seems suspended in mid-air.

Mario Botta’s architecture is known for its solid geometries, rigorous symmetry and the dialogue between geometry, light and context. In Charlotte, the volumes look solid but are hollow, and the seat feels both monolithic and light. Horm was founded in 1989 in the Pordenone furniture district and works mainly with wood, often combined with marble and leather, alongside international designers and architects.
