Medulum
Prospecto is a collection of storage units whose wooden surfaces are furrowed by thin brass profiles. The ancient technique of inlay is reinterpreted to generate unprecedented three-dimensional effects that allude to Op Art while referencing Brunelleschi's perspective drawings, Piero della Francesca's paintings, or evoking the Renaissance atmosphere of Federico Da Montefeltro's study in Urbino. A concept based on the theme of travel, which is not only the prerogative of the body in motion but also an escape of the mind that makes its way through the domestic walls.
Storage units made with milled wooden panels into which brass profiles are inserted, cut and applied with careful and precise inlay work. The handleless and holeless doors are a distinctive feature.
Prospecto is not only a tribute to geometric perspective but also a functional cabinet or sideboard, with extra-clear glass shelves inside.
