The brand

Midj

Midj is a family-run company from Friuli that, since 1987, has brought the care of craftsmanship to industrial scale. Galleria Italia carries a broad part of its catalogue, focused mainly on tables and seating for dining and living areas.

The lead piece is Paola Navone’s Plissè table, available round in Ø120 and Ø150, elliptical and as a coffee table, with marble, glass or wood tops. Alongside it are Paolo Vernier’s Clessidra, the extendable Sesamo tables with ceramic tops, Giovanni Crosera’s Foil, the wooden Eggen by Studio PANG, Studio Pastina’s Planum with a marble top and the More in HPL. For outdoor use there is the Akashi Outdoor table with a ceramic top.

The seating is signed by Roberto Paoli (Pippi, Amelie, Dattilo), Martini e Dall’Agnol (Stack, in polypropylene with a fabric or leather seat), Paolo Vernier (Ola, Lea) and Beatriz Sempere (Mys). Gabriele Panciera’s Drop and Studio Pastina’s Bloom side tables complete the selection.

The Amelie armchair on casters is built on a metal base with casters. The seat and backrest are padded and upholstered in leather, faux leather or fabric. The chair can be customized with a different fabric or color for the seat and backrest, or with a contrasting fabric or color for the front insert of the backrest.
