The brand

Medulum

Medulum is a furniture company founded in Meolo, in the Venetian hinterland, drawing on the precious forty-year experience of the Zanchettin family's carpentry workshop. A brand that captivates with creations rich in evocation, blending elegance, refinement and tradition.

The enchanting Venetian lagoon area, with its forms and colours, is the brand's main source of inspiration for its collections. Even the brand's name expresses this strong bond. Medulum is in fact the Latin name of the river favoured by Venetian nobles of old to reach their summer residences.

Every creation, whether a bookcase or a small table, is finished down to the smallest detail by a team of expert master artisans led by Diego Zanchettin. This gives rise to contemporary, refined collections of furniture and accessories that, thanks to collaborations with architects and designers, translate skilled woodworking into ever-new languages.

Valuing raw materials, artisan care, research and experimentation are the distinctive traits that have set Medulum apart, making it a symbol of the truest, most authentic Made in Italy.

A wooden top supported by steel arches: these are the pure and essential elements that make up the Archie table designed by Serena Confalonieri for Medulum. Inspired by the trajectory of bouncing objects, the designer creates a dynamic and light base, a dance of sinuous movements and references to the classic forms of arches.
Designed for domestic environments, but also for contract projects that require a strong stylistic identity, Archie is offered in two versions and two color options.
Available in oval or round versions, the top comes in a solid color or a decorated option, with a multi-colored inlaid graphic that echoes the concept and forms of the structure.
The solid and substantial wooden top rests on a play of lines, creating an elegant contrast and giving the object both aesthetic and formal stability.
