Founded in 2005 in the heart of the Marche region, in Fossombrone, from an idea by Davide Diamantini, Karman produces lighting collections for outdoor and indoor spaces. With a strong identity and great expertise, the company nurtures its deep Italian roots while looking towards distant horizons and international markets, where its products are increasingly appreciated and well known as the expression of a genuine, innovative Made in Italy.

In every project, light is a source of continuous inspiration, understood as both functionality and magic. Each lamp tells a surprising story through extravagant, playful designs that constantly redefine the idea of beauty and spark endless suggestions.

Which versions of Alì e Babà are available?

Matteo Ugolini's Alì e Babà collection has a ceramic base and a ceramic or linen shade, in table, floor, wall and compact or slender conical pendant versions. For outdoor use there is the Alibabig pendant variant, in fibreglass.

Who are Karman's designers?

Matteo Ugolini designed 22 of the 31 models in our catalogue, including Alì e Babà, Snoob, Ceraunavolta and Plancton. Marcantonio designed Moony, with 1, 3 or 5 arms, Edmondo Testaguzza Beautiful Mess and Cobu, and Giorgio Silla Lilly.
