Fratelli Boffi is an Italian company that has been creating sculptural furniture since 1928, inspired by the classics and reinterpreted in a modern key.

An age-old cabinet-making tradition and artisan experience give rise every year to rich collections in which materials and forms are the undisputed protagonists: a range of furniture that answers to contemporary comfort while keeping the precious legacy of tradition intact.

Every collection adds eccentric visions and ironic interpretations, skilfully combining a long tradition of woodworking with cutting-edge techniques.

The first is devoted to research, exploring every possible avenue; the second is expressed with authority in the world of collective spaces, developing complete projects that respond to tailor-made requests. A culture of the project rather than of the product alone, drawn from historical experience that never abandons Italian craftsmanship, but instead makes it Fratelli Boffi's crowning glory.

D/Vision .2, the last of the three projects, completes the metamorphosis by dividing the original object in a kind of explosion. As in a Cubist painting, which depicts the subject by looking at it from different points of view as happened in perspective vision, the trumeau is broken down into different parts and immortalized. Each part becomes a self-contained container, but the importance of the whole re-emerges as soon as one observes the beauty of the furniture as a whole. The addition of military green color fields, alternated with areas where the original frisé wood has been maintained, complete the design of a product that blurs the line between a unique piece and mass-produced furniture.
